Hello guys!! How are you? I really
hope you are all well!
Today’s lesson is about FLYING!!!
Is there anyone who is afraid of
heights?!!!
Well, then…fasten your seat belts and get
ready for an exciting flight with me…
Make sure you watch the short video on the link I gave you to
find out more about it!!!
Can you believe that just by sitting in your own comfortable
home you are given the opportunity to take an online tour inside some of the
most iconic aircrafts of all times?
Wasn’t it awesome?!!!!
The
activity that follows is for jigsaw puzzle
lovers!!
If you happen to be one of them, click on the link to do as many challenging plane
jigsaw puzzles you can!!
Now the time has come for you to test yourselves on the
different types of planes? Play the Plane Type Game to see how much you remember!!
In order to play some more games I have prepared just for
you, I’m going to ask you first to REVISE
THE FLIGHT VOCABULARY in Unit 4. You can always have access to your e-books
by clicking on the following link.
Are you ready to PLAY? Then, click on
the link!
Now revise
the simple past of irregular verbs you can find on page 159 of your
Pupil’s e-Book and play the Word Search Game!!You have to look horizontally,
vertically and diagonally!
In order to
get the highest score you have to find the simple past of the following 20
verbs:
Fly,
catch, draw, fall, fight, give, grow, know, learn, light, read, ring, see,
shake, smell, steal, stand, teach, throw, write.
Did you
enjoy the games?
Well, time flies… so I guess it’s time to say goodbye with a
relevant SONG interpreted by the legendary voice
of Frank Sinatra that will travel you to the
USA of 1965!
Do you
believe you can sing this popular song better??? Then, why don’t you click on
the following link to Sing Karaoke and try your luck!!!
Your task for next week is to write a short essay (=έκθεση) to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of travelling by plane.
(120 words minimum).
Apart from
that, I am expecting you to give me your feedback on today’s lesson in order to tell me what you liked more about it
and help me design more fun lessons for you.
I still
haven’t heard from many of you…Please, make sure you send me your feedback.
Sending you all my love and thought..
